Things You Should Insist On No Matter What People Say

Your mind-blowing vision statement should be a quick summary of requirements. The clearer the definition the more likely your project will be a whopping success.

  •  What opportunities will the project take advantage of?
  •  What problems are being solved?
  •  Outline the rationale for what users would value.
  •  Are some features more important than others? Which features are essential, and which are desirable?

Breath-taking goals - should be SMART: Specific, Measurable, Action-oriented, Realistic, and Timely.

Below is a template for developing a sensational project statement:

  •  For (target users)
  •  Who (statement of need or opportunity)
  •  The (solution name) is a (solution category)
  •  That (key benefit, compelling reason to use)
  •  Unlike (primary competitive alternative)
  •  Our solutions (statement of primary differentiation)

Brazen example - Housekeeping, maintenance.

Building your own Power App, BI solution, or automated workflow can be a mind-blowing experience. It can also be a nightmare. Particularly when you begin with a blank screen. My advice, get professional help as and when you need it. That's what successful people do.
